Summary: Use utf8 as encoding

Initial Comment:
Is there a special reason to use ISO-8859-1 as encoding?
I would suggest to use the more general utf8 as most modern systems use this as default anyway (at least *nix systems).

Message:
it does not. however, the grabber used to claim the output being in
ISO-8859-1 (some hard coded relict from older days....), even though it
actually was in UTF-8.

a mythtv user pointed it out to me and i fiex that at the end of april.
